Yesterday, we got a very frightened Emma Watson on the first Regression poster. Today, TWC-Dimension has released the pulse-pounding trailer for this taut thriller on Emma Watson’s Facebook, which will push you over the edge. Director Alejandro Amenábar, best known for classic shockers The Others and The Sea Inside, returns for yet another spooky tale. And genre favorite Ethan Hawke is coming along for the ride.
Set in Minnesota in 1990, Regression follows detective Bruce Kenner (Ethan Hawke). He’s sent to investigate the case of young Angela ( Emma Watson), who accuses her father, John Gray (David Dencik), of an unspeakable crime. When John unexpectedly and without recollection admits guilt, renowned psychologist Dr. Raines (David Thewlis) is brought in to help him relive his memories and what they discover unmasks a horrifying nationwide mystery.

‘Regression’ Poster Has a Very Scared Emma Watson
Following the first Regression trailer that debuted back in February, TWC-Dimension has released a new poster for the upcoming drama, which features a fearful Emma Watson. The one-sheet also includes the tagline “Fear Always Finds Its Victim,” which seems quite evident judging by Emma Watson’s pained expression. This film is the latest from renowned director Alejandro Amenábar, who is best known for The Others and The Sea Inside.

‘Regression’ First Look Photo with Emma Watson and Ethan Hawke
Academy award winner Alejandro Amenábar (The Sea Inside, The Others) has wrapped principal photography on Regression. The film, based on Amenabar’s original screenplay is produced by MOD Entertainment, MOD Producciones, Himenóptero, First Generation Films and Telefónica Studios in association with FilmNation Entertainment, with the participation of Telefilm Canada and in collaboration with Mediaset España. TWC-Dimension will distribute the film in the United States. The first photo has been released by TWC-Dimension, featuring Emma Watson and Ethan Hawke, which you can take a look at below.
Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke (Before Midnight, Training Day) and Emma Watson (Noah, Harry Potter) star in the film. Regression sees the return of Amenabar to genre, where he previously had great success with Dimension Films’ The Others, which grossed over $200 million worldwide.
